He's the guardian of the dead, and what I mean by that is that he protects an old, creepy, haunted graveyard that teenagers would try to hangout at during the late hours. Yup, SkullGnome loves staying up all night! In fact, his best friend is the moon, so when the sun comes up, he goes to sleep.
The most magical thing about SkullGnome is that his head is filled with candy! This solves all of his hunger problems as its also his favorite food. Yes, that means he eats his own brains, but wouldn't you do it too if you always had fresh candy popping out of your head?
